EVICK Core Safety Principles

Safety is personal, practical and part of every job. We look after one another, protect the people around us and never accept unsafe work as unavoidable.

Our Commitment

Safety Without
Compromise.

Safety is our top priority. Every day, in every part of EVICK, we work towards our goal of zero injuries.

We understand why and how to act safely, look after each other and proactively encourage safe practices. Our procedures are designed to protect our employees, customers, site teams, equipment users and everyone else affected by our work.

We also conduct ourselves respectfully around your people, premises and business operations. Good safety and good service belong together: clear communication, careful planning and professional workmanship are fundamental to both.

What KISS Means

Four Principles.
One Shared Standard.

KISS gives our people a simple, memorable framework for making safe decisions before, during and after every task.

K
Keep

Safety Visible

Plan the task, discuss the risks and keep safe working at the front of every decision.

I
Identify

Hazards Early

Assess the equipment, environment, access and people who could be affected before work starts.

S
Stop

When It Isn’t Safe

Everyone has the authority and duty to stop, ask for support and only continue when risks are controlled.

What We Learn

Report incidents, hazards and near misses promptly so that lessons lead to continual improvement.

Our Safety Objectives

Everyone Home Safe.
Every Day.

Our objective is not simply to meet a minimum standard. It is to build a culture where people understand the risks, make sound decisions and take responsibility for one another.

People & Training

Competence Is
Built, Not Assumed.

EVICK invests significant time and resources in our people—from managers and coordinators to site engineers. Training is not treated as a one-off event.

Our team receives appropriate instruction, development and retraining as roles, equipment, legislation and site risks evolve. People must understand both the work they perform and the reasons behind the safe methods they follow.

  • Role-appropriate training and supervision
  • Refresher training when requirements change
  • Clear procedures, risk assessments and method statements
  • Open reporting of hazards, incidents and near misses
Personal Responsibility

Safe Work Is
Everybody’s Job.

Assess

Pause and assess the task, equipment, work area and people who may be affected.

Follow

Use the agreed procedures, safe systems of work and control measures for the task.

Report

Report incidents, damage, hazards and near misses promptly and accurately.

Support

Ask for help when needed and actively support colleagues and customers in working safely.

Compliance & Standards

The Law Is Our
Starting Point.

Complying with applicable laws, regulations and other requirements is the starting point for our operations—not the finish line.

Where our own procedures and management processes set a more demanding standard, we work to that higher expectation. Requirements are reviewed in the context of the work, the equipment and the customer’s site arrangements.

Right to stop work
Every EVICK team member has the duty and authority to stop unsafe work, request support and ensure suitable action is taken before continuing.

Full Lifecycle Support

Safe Today.
Supported Tomorrow.

Our responsibility does not end when an installation is complete. EVICK supports industrial doors, loading systems, gates and shutters throughout their working life—from survey and installation to planned maintenance, repair, upgrade and replacement.
