Industrial door & Loading Systems Engineer

Due to continued success and growth, Evick Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Loading Systems Engineer to join our team. Based from our Nottingham office, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, emergency call-outs and installations on loading bay equipment and industrial roller shutters nationwide.

About the Role

Join a growing family-run company specialising in the supply, installation and maintenance of loading bay equipment and industrial doors across the UK. Due to continued success and growth, Evick Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Loading Systems Engineer to join our team. Based from our Nottingham office, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, emergency call-outs and installations on loading bay equipment and industrial roller shutters nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Main Duties
Work Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm, with overtime available and paid at enhanced rates (time and a half and double time).
Service, diagnose faults, repair and install loading bay equipment, including mechanical and hydraulic dock levellers, scissor lifts, vehicle restraints, industrial doors, gates and barriers.
Complete planned preventative maintenance in accordance with customer service contracts.
Accurately complete service sheets and provide detailed reports identifying any additional remedial work required.
Support fellow engineers and provide technical assistance where required.
Undertake breakdown repairs and emergency call-outs as directed.
There is currently no on-call rota.
Work safely at all times, ensuring full compliance with company Health & Safety procedures.

What We Are Looking For

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Willingness to undertake ongoing health and safety training and remain up to date with industry best practice.
Industry-recognised qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS and NVQ Level 2 in Industrial Doors or Loading Bay Equipment are desirable.
Experience and/or qualifications in electrical, hydraulic and mechanical engineering, including fabrication and welding.
